Q: Can I arrive days early or stay longer after my retreat?
A: Absolutely! Please refer to the ‘Integration’ and ‘Early Arrivals’ packages on the Accommodations page for an offer exclusive to Mind•Body•Life Retreats. Please note that there may be a separate airport shuttle fee and that we will do our absolute best to keep you in the same room/cabina for your entire stay.

Q: What airport should I fly into?
​
A: If you're flying internationally, we suggest Liberia Guanacaste Airport. This is where our shuttles will be picking up and dropping off, located about 90 minutes from the retreat site.
If you're flying in domestically, Tamarindo Airport is only a 30 minute drive!

Q: Is transportation covered to and from the retreat?
​
A: Transportation is included within the cost of the retreat, barring late arrivals and early departures. We will do our best to get you where you need to be when you need it.
Q: Can you accommodate individual dietary restrictions?
A: We accommodate most dietary restrictions. The only thing we are not equipped to accommodate is keto diet (aka meat heavy diet) as we are a plant-based kitchen.
Q: Is tap water at Peace Retreat safe to drink?
A: Yes! Most tap water in this region of Costa Rica is safe to drink. We also have a built-in water filtration system that allows guests to drink and fill up water bottles from any water source on property.
Q: Will you provide yoga mats and props?
A: Yes! We have yoga mats, blocks, blankets, bolsters, lily pads, tennis balls and straps. However, since the ocean air and jungle aren’t always kind to our materials, we encourage guests to bring their own yoga mat if possible.
Q: Are beach towels provided?
A: We do not provide beach towels, but we sell Turkish towels (thin, quick drying material) in our on-site store (subject to availability).
Q: How far away is the town of Playa Negra and the beach?
A: We are about a 15 minute walk to the small town of Playa Negra. The beach is another 10-15 minutes or so past town.
Q: Can I book an independent spa experience during our retreat?

Q: Will other guests be on property during my retreat?
A: There will be non-retreat participants on the property as this property is a haven for global travelers all year round.
Q: Is there a store onsite if I forget anything or want to add to my wardrobe?
A: Absolutely! We carry a few local designers — swimwear, ready-to-wear, daily wear, Turkish towels (thin & quick drying), basic toiletries, and the like. All is subject to availability, and cash is encouraged to avoid the 13% Costa Rica Hotel tax.
Q: What payment methods are accepted?
A: We accept all major credit cards (except American Express) and USD as forms of payment. All credit card charges will incur a 13% Costa Rica Hotel tax, so we highly suggest bringing cash (USD). You’ll save money on the smaller things if you BRING CASH!
